1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Kids Quest ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

For Parents/Guardians: By creating a family account and adding children, you consent on their behalf and acknowledge you have read our Privacy Policy.

For Children: Please ask your parent or guardian to read these Terms with you. Use this app only with your parent's permission.

2. Age Requirements & Parental Consent

Kids Quest is rated 4+ and listed in the Apple App Store Kids Category.

• Children under 13 may only use Kids Quest with parental consent and supervision
• Parents must create the family account and add children to it
• By adding a child to your family, you provide consent for them to use the app
• Purchase options are only visible in Parent profiles — children cannot access purchase screens

3. Description of Service

Kids Quest is a family task management app that allows:

• Parents: Create illustrated tasks, set rewards, manage family members, approve completed tasks
• Children: View assigned quests, submit completion photos, earn stars, redeem rewards
• Family: Chat within the family group, share progress

4. Family Accounts

4.1 Family Creation

When you create a family group, you become the administrator (Parent role). You are responsible for managing family members, creating age-appropriate content, and ensuring appropriate use.

4.2 Family Code

Each family receives a unique 6-character code. Keep it private — share only with people you want in your family group.

4.3 iCloud Sync

Family data syncs across devices using Apple iCloud. All members must be signed into iCloud for sync to work.

5. Content Guidelines

5.1 Appropriate Content

All content must be family-friendly and appropriate for children: names, task descriptions, photos, rewards, and messages.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload or share content that contains violence, adult themes, harassment, profanity, illegal activities, or personal information of people outside your family.

5.3 Responsibility

Parents are responsible for all content uploaded by their children.

6. Purchases & Payments

• Kids Quest offers a free trial period with access to all features
• After the trial, a one-time purchase unlocks full access permanently — no subscriptions
• Purchase options visible only in Parent profiles
• All payments processed by Apple through the App Store
• Refund requests must be submitted to Apple — we cannot process refunds directly

7. Privacy & Data

Please read our Privacy Policy for full details. Key points:

• No third-party advertising or analytics
• No data sharing with third parties
• All data stored securely in Apple iCloud
• COPPA compliant

8. Intellectual Property

Kids Quest — including its design, artwork, avatars, illustrations, and functionality — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Kids Quest is provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for data loss due to device or iCloud issues
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the app

10. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
